CoinGPT Alert

On May 18th, 2024, Cryptocointrace received a complaint from a customer through its CRM, about a potential scam known as CoinGPT. The company promises an easy entry point for both beginning and experienced traders. The platform boasts a user-friendly interface and support for popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. They also offer manual trading tools and educational resources. Unfortunately, they do not offer a clear view of their features before requesting a deposit.  Legitimate services are typically upfront about their features before requiring a deposit. While some sources affirm the legitimacy of CoinGPT, others express skepticism, highlighting the importance of thorough research and caution when considering an online broker.  Given the lack of transparency and potential lack of regulation, it’s advisable to proceed with caution when considering CoinGPT.

Additionally, there appear to be unverified claims regarding CoinGPT’s success rates. Customer reviews are scarce.

If you’ve been scammed by CoinGPT or any other online broker:

  • Gather Evidence: Collect all documents related to your interaction with the platform, including bank statements.
  • Report the Scam: File a report with local law enforcement (FBI, SFO, AFP, depending on your location).

Consider submitting a complaint with Cryptocointrace, a company dedicated to investigating crypto scams and assisting victims of fraud.
